Employment Experiences

Bethel has an abundance of resources available to students that help them prepare for graduation and employment after college. At the Career Center, we help students put together their resumes. We help them write cover letters. We help them fill out applications. We even do mock interviews to help get those jitters out because interviewing can be very intimidating. Bethel places a strong emphasis on postgraduate employment. I feel like it prepares students well with their curriculum and networking opportunities that they have on campus and off campus. Bethel is invested in student success. They're not focused just on you while you're here. But afterwards, especially employment and getting you a job and getting you into the workforce. We work really close with some of the businesses locally here in Newton to employ our students, whether that be at the local retirement community, whether that be at our local printing press, students are not only gaining the knowledge in the classroom, but they're taking that knowledge and putting it into practice. And so we're helping facilitate opening the doors for students to find connections out in the real world, so employers know what they're getting when they hire a Bethel student.
