The process of transferring to Bethel was pretty easy. I had a great experience with my admissions counselor. We knocked everything out the first day that I was on campus. The administration communicated really well with me on what I needed to do that and definitely sets Bethel apart. Sometimes it's a little intimidating to come from a two year and not sure how that transition works. So we get our transfers connected with our registrar right away. That helps with their credits transferring, which I know is a big question among a lot of students. Bethel really stresses community and getting involved and connecting with people. You get to make a lot of friendships and connections with administration even. I'm a part of the class on social transition. That class has helped me get acclimated with not just the different clubs, but different events going on on campus and making sure that we're getting involved in those and showing up and supporting the different programs, which is nice and helping you get connected with other transfer students is also helpful and you can help each other out. I was a transfer myself and being an out of state student, we also have a host family program here on campus to get our students and our community more involved. And so what you'll find here on campus for you is that not only is the campus community all into you and your success, but the greater Newton community is as well and they're gonna want to connect you with further opportunities, not only here while you're a student but also in life after graduation.
